Eagle Catches Fish

Eagle Catches Fish evolved through shapes, layers and scraping through these layers. When a painting is done, it will reveal itself to me. When the abstracted shape of the eagle and fish appeared, I knew the painting was finished.

The vigilant eagle

A meal to catch

Hooked beak set

Talons ready to snatch
Flying over water

Riding open skies

Nothing is hidden

From his powerful eyes
The eagle has a message

Sent down by spirit

Of freedom and of courage

The fish did not hear it
